Sound therapy works holistically by helping to bring back a state of natural balance to the body, as the vibrations of sound pass through the body on a cellular level, the body begins to heal itself.

I offer one to one sound therapy sessions, where I can work with you on a personal level. If you are interested in finding out more, please do get in touch.

What happens in a gong bath?

On arrival at a gong bath, you can either remain seated or choose to lie down on a your yoga mat on the floor; you may wish to cover yourself in a warm blanket for comfort. It is advisable to bring a pillow with you.

During a 'gong bath' you will be bathed in the vibrations of the gongs and singing bowls. As a result you may experience shifts in consciousness similar to that of deep relaxation or sleep.

The eyes would normally be closed to allow the body to relax completely.

As the sound waves pass through you, you may feel as though you lose all sense of your physical body or gravity.

On arrival at a one to one Sound Therapy Session, I will discuss with you any concerns you have and ask you what you wish the intention of the session to be.

You can either remain seated in a chair or choose to lie down on a soft floor.

Singing bowls can be placed on the body to allow their resonance and vibrations to work directly on any given area or energy centre to direct therapeutic tones where they are specifically needed.

Should you prefer, the bowls can be played close to the body rather than directly on the body.

The gongs can also be used during a one to one sound therapy session.

Setting an Intention for your Sound Therapy Session or Gong Bath

Should you wish to dedicate your gong bath or sound therapy session to a particular thought or request for therapy, either for yourself or for another, please feel free to bring a small item with you that you can keep close to you as a reminder; such as a photo or a few words written on a piece of paper.

Please contact me for more information or to make a booking.
