Hello Yogis.
Every new year delivers an opportunity to evaluate where you are in life, what goals you have achieved, those you have shelved and those you have abolished for good! You may be inspired to make new ones.
Sometimes we start the year off with the best of intentions but find ourselves making yet more of the same promises a whole year later!
It is you who is holding the deck of cards that you will be dealing out to yourself as the days and weeks tick by,
For every action or thought, there is an equal and opposing action or thought, so you can literally pick and choose your responses to each of life’s experiences.
For some, this year is already challenging and it is important to allow yourself time to reflect and to breathe for a while, but don’t hide your face away in case you miss that chance to fulfil an ideal you hadn’t even thought of yet.
Some of the decisions you take are painful but when you can recognise that short term pain for long term health is the an ally rather than an enemy, you can breathe through the initial pain.
I recently read a wonderful paragraph from a book entitled Shine. A Pleiadian Message to Awaken Your True Potential, by Elsabe Smit. it is said to be an account of a channelled message from the beings of the star system known as the Pleiadies. There are some wonderfully insightful words spoken throughout the book.
“Today we have a message of new-ness to you. Yes, we know it is a different way of using language and we are doing it on purpose.
New-ness is an attribute of what you have not experienced yet. We want to explain this without becoming too scientific.
When you have a new experience, the neutrons in your brain connect in a different way, This is like wandering through familiar territory and then deciding to explore a new path .There is a short moment of initial excitement, followed by a split second decision.
When the new-ness is not much different from familiar experiences, the decision is often to continue and accept the new-ness, which then becomes familiar.
When the new-ness pushes boundaries, the initial excitement creates other emotions that make the new experience more challenging. When this happens, the choice to remain behind or move forward becomes conscious. If you then decide not to accept the new-ness, you create a block in the flow of your energy,
You are asking where free will fits into this?
We are explaining free will. You can accept or decline the new-ness and yes, when you decline the new-ness, you create an energy block. The new-ness was created as part of your path to ensure the continuous flow of energy.
By you choosing to decline the new-ness, you choose the energy blockage.
Not all experiences provide the same level of challenge.
When you accept the challenge your level of vibration increases. You experience inner peace at a higher level.
Accept the new-ness that comes to you today and understand that it is necessary for your growth.
Blessings to you,”
That paragraph caused me to stop and look at the ways I am creating the blocks I feel that are occurring in my life. I am also able to see how my attitude has attributed to my success in certain areas.
I invite you to ponder the above paragraph and have a think about how you can dawn a new year to the best life can offer you!
Some things are obviously out of ones control but the approach to a situation can still help to determine the overall experience and outcome as the situation resolves.
I created a tool kit to help you to do just that. It contains videos and recordings alongside a short ebook of notes that will help you to establish a home practice of yoga, meditation or deep relaxation.
